Thanks for the Tutor Ted’s Solution Manual recommendation. I hadn’t heard of it before.

I concur with Mr. Scorebusters-PWN the SAT and Ultimate Verbal are two must haves.

Although they are independently published, and therefore not as well known as the books you listed, these are the best in their subjects:

PWN the SAT Math Guide by Mike McClenathan

The Ultimate Guide to SAT Grammar by Erica Meltzer

Most of the tutors who specialize in the courses and exams at the specific elite high schools are graduates of those schools, themselves, it seems, or are otherwise well-connected to get the materials and enjoy familiarity with the courses and what it takes to excel in them. For other tutoring –SAT test prep, for example – tutors are hired by the test prep companies on the basis of their own score achievements plus teaching qualifications, experience, etc.
